Rip Rap is a large, heavy-duty granite stone made up of irregular, angular pieces. Unlike river rock, it is not rounded, which allows the stones to lock together and stay in place. This makes it especially effective for controlling erosion and stabilizing areas with water flow.

Other Notes

Best installed at a minimum depth of 4" for stability. Ideal for areas with heavy water movement due to its ability to interlock. Not suitable for walkways or decorative groundcover due to its rough, angular shape. Landscape fabric is recommended underneath to improve stability and reduce weed growth.
